T-SHIRT CONTEST

Alright, I figured since there is so much creativity floating around out there I should see what we can come up with.

I'll be holding a contest to see who can come up with the best design idea. Your ideas can be Twilight related, as long as it's not obvious. Vampire, Werewolf, and Gutter topics are probably your best bet (obelisks, polishing, baking, aprons, etc.) since they are Twilight'ish, but don't relate directly to the book.

Since this is a very unofficial contest I don't have any official rules. Submit as many ideas as you like in the comments for this post and on Jan. 31, 2008 a winner will be announced. The winner will have their idea drawn up by me and will get a free T-shirt with their design on it.

Be sure to leave your Lex name, or at least some way of identifying yourself so we can contact you if you are a winner.

Tell your friends and spread the word!

Idea 1:
"Doctor, and Southerner, and Soldier, OH MY!"

I don't like Emmett's very much...I tried "Teddy" (that's a bit guttery but not quite right!) and "Jokester" but I'll keep thinking.

Idea 2:
Three vehicles pictured--a Mercedes,a Big red Jeep, and Edward's bike (I'd like to think he did give it Jasper!)

Idea 3:
How bad can I be? (followed by the gutter's well used wicked smiley--which will probably have to be just similiar to be recognized by us but different enough as to not violate copyrights)

Idea 4: (Fry said we could do more than 1!)
Bake or Bite?
Bake (bak) v. 1.to be subjected to heat 2. to harden by heat n. the act or process of baking

Bite (bahyt) v. 1. to clamp teeth firmly on or around 2. to grip, grab or sieze n. amount taken into mouth at one time
Why choose!
(Maybe this one is tooooo guttery!!!)

For us older fans: "Twilight fans are ageless, just like the Cullens." on t-shirts.

"Edward's Rock Polishing Club: Marble and Granite Care."

"Polishing and Grooming Clubs Unite."

"Proud Member of the Gutter" - graphic of little gutter drain with rain coming down. (easy, right? You can do anything, right?)

"Race You to the Gutter"
Pic shows footrace with your Edward, Bella, and Jake characters running (Jake could be your cute wolf)

"Obelisks Rock"
Pic of the obelisk you drew

"I Pick Him"
Pic of Bella on the back of a motorcycle looking back, hair streaming, arms clutching a muscled bicep/shoulder...you can't tell if the driver is E or J

"Sorry Charlie" or "A Girl Can Dream, Can't She?"
Pic of Bella looking back with a smile, holding hands with E and J who are looking forward, walking away

I was thinking maybe a bowling alley gutter. I don't know how the 'gutter gals' would feel about it but I was just thinking of other ideas/images for the word gutter.

Maybe, "Gutter Gals have all the fun" or "I'm a Gutter Gal through and through" or maybe even "Just passing through" (For those who don't want to claim to be in the gutter all the time. haha).

From SolitaryDreamsAtTwilight (from lex)

Idea 1: Edward Version
Front of shirt:
Bake?
(Picture of muscular Edward smirking in nothing but a very *short* apron, with a chef's hat on and a mixing bowl crooked in his arm.)
Back of shirt:
...Or Bite?
(Picture of Edward sitting at a little table - think french with candles and roses - with a knife and fork in his hand. You can have him lick his lips or smile a little wolfishly...you know!)

Idea 2:Jacob version
Front of shirt: Picture of your sexy bike-jacob but a little more wolf-like

Back of shirt:
werewolf/n/ a human capable of assuming the form of a wolf, while retaining human intelligence and displaying an extreme ... prowess

me again(love2dream)...sorry! Building off what Sprty said about bowling gutters. Found this T-shirt http://www.bowlingconcepts.com/bowling-t-shirts/graphic-bowling-t-shirts.shtml
It gave me an idea. Front of shirt says "Gutter Gal" and the back says "SPLIT" with fire design on one side and ice on the other.

I like these polo shirts styles, too.

Idea 1) Pickle is one of the words we twilightized so. A picture of a pickle standing up. Bronze hair, confused look on face. Words below: A pickle is a preserved cucumber. A vampire is a preserved person. Ergo, a vampire is a pickle!

Idea 2) pic of Jasper below the words "Jasper...the other white meat.

Idea 3) Pic's of 4 Cullen boys with the saying 'eeny meeny miney moe..."

Ok, here are a few other ideas, more specifically for the Host Dex ladies:

"Got squirrels in your pockets?" - this is a shout out to Larlabelle, it's a long story that started with Ouisa and 'we' and a great line from Larla's dad. We now have undercover squirrels, evil plot squirrels and squirrel stew.

"Bow Chicka Wow Wow." We all know what this music is. But maybe the words would be fun just to have.

"Twilightipated Moments" these are moments in real life when we are struck with Twilight spilling over into reality. A silver volvo, someone named Bella, a yummy American Indian male in a pharmacy.

Finally, it would be really cool if we could customize some of your shirts with our own screenames for the Lex or Dex. When we are at signings and other get togethers, it would be great to have those names to associate with the faces. Sigh. Ok, that's something else I'll research and see if we can do.

For designs you've had done, or for upcoming projects please donate below.
Thank you for everyone's support and creative ideas.
